We're constantly updating and enhancing ChurchSuite, often building directly upon customer feedback to guide our development. The following lists some changes that were made to ChurchSuite between 1st January 2026 and 18th February 2026.

January 8th, 2026 Sending My ChurchSuite invites now auto-enables My ChurchSuite access
We've introduced a change to the My ChurchSuite invitation workflow designed to help reduce some of the 'paper cuts' users might experience with recipients whose access to My ChurchSuite has not first been enabled. Now, when sending a My ChurchSuite invitation individually, via a bulk action, or through a form or flow, the "Allow My ChurchSuite login" will automatically be set to "Yes" by the sending process. We've also introduced a new "Send My ChurchSuite invite" action for forms and flows for contacts and children to make the invitation functionality clearer to use.
January 14th, 2026 GoCardless donation dates
We've made a change that will affect online donations processed through GoCardless from 15 January 2026 onwards. Previously, the donation date shown in ChurchSuite reflected when GoCardless informed us that they had created the donation and begun processing it. Going forwards, the donation date in ChurchSuite will reflect the date that GoCardless state they will charge the giver's Direct Debit. We hope this change will improve the accuracy of your records and make reconciling donations between ChurchSuite and GoCardless easier.
January 19th, 2026 Giver communication options
The Givers section in the Giving module has a new optional Column and Filters to help you visualise each giver's Communication options.
January 22nd, 2026 Improved form error messages
We've updated form error handling across the application. When a form contains errors, you'll now see a list of all issues in one place, so you can quickly identify which fields are affected and what the problem is.
January 30th, 2026 Song chart editor update - ChordPro
We've completely rebuilt our song chord chart editor to ensure that ChordPro files are handled correctly as well as whitespace charts and those with square bracket notation from apps like Onsong. ChordPro files now render beautifully on our new plan pages.
January 30th, 2026 Chord chart uploading
You can now add songs to ChurchSuite automatically by uploading one or more chord chart files in plain text format. Chord chart files exported from apps like Onsong can now all be added in one go. Head to the Songs page in the Planning module and choose the Upload tab when adding a song to get started. Together with the new chart editor and ChordPro capabilities it's never been easier to migrate your worship team over to Planning in ChurchSuite.
February 4th, 2026 Elvanto Import updates
We've made a number of updates and improvements to the Elvanto Import integration: - People who are marked as deceased will be imported as archived. - People who are marked as a child will be imported to the Children module. - Links between family members, e.g. spouse/partner and parent/child will be maintained. - Flows and people within them will be imported as Address Book flows.
February 4th, 2026 New Church of England example booking types, price lists and enquiry forms for life events
You can now install the Church of England's 2026 example price lists from the Prices page within the Bookings module. Please note that this feature is only available to accounts within England, Jersey, Guernsey and the Isle of Man. You can also install the Church of England's 2026 example enquiry forms from the Types page within the Bookings module. Installing an example Type will come with an attached enquiry form and price list.
February 6th, 2026 New "Add to group - Children" action for forms and flows
We've introduced a new "Add to group - Children" action for forms and flows in the Children module. It is now possible to automatically add children to groups when processing a flow and running form response actions.
February 6th, 2026 Calendar "Subscribe to feed"
We've made it easier to find and subscribe to the feeds provided by the Calendar module. From the main Calendar page, click "Subscribe to feed" to open a popup showing all available feeds — including the public "Show in Embed" feed and private user feeds for events and leave requests. You can subscribe using an iCal feed (for Mac, Outlook, and others) or via Google Calendar.
February 16th, 2026 User language preference
We've added a new setting that allows each user to choose their preferred language. The primary account language can be set under Account > Profile, and individual users can select the language they'd like to use by updating their own user settings. On the My Profile page, if a user's browser language differs from their selected language — and the browser language is supported — they'll be prompted to update their preference to match their browser.
