We're constantly updating and enhancing ChurchSuite, often building directly upon customer feedback to guide our development. The following lists some changes that were made to ChurchSuite between 1st July 2025 and 17th September 2025.

July 3rd, 2025 Improved form response handling
We have made several exciting changes to the Responses tab for forms, each designed to help users manage responses more effectively: The Responses tab has been modernised to use our latest user interface, with an upgraded search and bulk actions. We've added additional filters to help users drill down into form responses - check out the new "Responded" (date range), "Is an invite response" and "Is a linked response" options. We've added new bulk actions for downloading responses in CSV and PDF format, giving more granular control over the filtered responses included in the download. We've also added bulk actions for linked response communications (Send Email and Send SMS), as well as a handy "Run actions" option that runs selected actions not previously run for selected responses. Lastly, response actions are now more readily accessible on the right-hand side of each response in the list, eliminating the need to scroll horizontally to access them.
July 3rd, 2025 Invites tab for Forms has been modernised
The Invites tab for Forms has been modernised to utilise our latest user interface, featuring new search, filters, and bulk actions. We've also added a new bulk action to help with deleting multiple invites in a single process.
July 8th, 2025 Form field updates
Address Book and Children forms have some additional field functionality: 1. Dividers can now be set with conditional visibility, for consistency with other fields and elements. 2. Address line 3, if enabled in the module options, is now shown in the Address field. 3. The Details field now includes a response confirmation option.
July 9th, 2025 People search with multiple Statuses
We've updated the Contacts, Children, Customers, and Givers sections to support searching by multiple Status values, instead of being limited to just one.
July 25th, 2025 Improved search ordering in Check-In
We've improved how search results are ordered in Check-In to show the most relevant matches first. For example, when searching for "ann", results where the name starts with the search term—like "Anne"—will appear before names that simply contain it, such as "Annah" or "Hannah".
July 28th, 2025 Copy items to empty plans
You can now quickly and easily copy plan items from a template or existing plan on to a new empty plan. All notes, people and files will be copied across in the process.
July 29th, 2025 MFA Remember this device
To reduce friction when logging in regularly as an MFA-enabled User, you can now choose to remember the device for 30 days.
July 29th, 2025 New 'Primary' Headings for Forms
We've added a new optional 'Primary' style for form headings. Primary headings are centred in a larger font and designed to be placed at the top of the form as a custom title. If a primary header exists in a form then we'll hide the form name at the top of the page giving you complete control over how your form looks to those filling it in.
August 5th, 2025 Updates in Children Attendance
We've updated the Attendance section of the Children module to streamline your experience. The main index page now presents recorded attendance more clearly, and when viewing a specific record, attendees (typically children) and team members (typically adults) are shown together in a single table. Clicking on a Session reveals an overview of attendee and team totals. Within the People tab, you can drill down to see exactly who was present. You can now sort attendees by their check-in and check-out times, and export the data to CSV for external record keeping or archiving.
September 2nd, 2025 Sites page updated
We've refreshed the Sites page with a modern look and smoother reordering.
September 8th, 2025 Report Form Responses as Spam
Users can now mark Form Responses as Spam, which reports them to our account monitoring systems. The data may be used to improve form submission security. Marking a response as spam will change the Response status to 'Spam', so they don't display in your active Responses list. We've added a new status filter option for 'spam'. Responses that have been marked as spam can be set active again if necessary.
September 12th, 2025 Try the improved Plan page experience
When you visit a Plan page, you'll find there's now a link at the top of the page offering you the opportunity to try the improved Plan page experience for that plan. The new plan page experience offers several significant improvements over the old: - Faster page load speeds and a modernised design. - Keyboard and bluetooth foot pedal navigation between items. - Improved chord transposition and presentation (including custom sizing and letter/number notation). - Visual previews of attached files - e.g. see the contents of PDF files as you move between items. We invite everyone to try out the new experience and offer their feedback.
September 15th, 2025 Small group demographics
We've added a new filter to the Small Group module's Demographics report to make it easier to visualise the number of unique 'single-group' and 'multi-group' members and the related demographics.
